Rally for Felix Rivera-Pitre To Follow Meeting With District Attorney’s Office About Inquiry Into NYPD Assault
Community activists will call for immediate termination of homophobic NYPD Deputy Inspector Johnny “Fists” Cardona for unprovoked assault on openly gay and HIV-positive community activist during #OWS march
What: Rally for Felix after he meets with District Attorney Vance’s office about whether the senior NYPD officer who punched him will be held accountable. After a short rally, Felix will head back to #OccupyWallStreet for the first time since he went into hiding after he was assaulted and the NYPD threatened to arrest him.
