Jasmine Budnella
Drug Policy Coordinator

Jasmine Budnella is VOCAL-NY’s Drug Policy Coordinator, focusing her work on New York State’s overdose crisis. She has been practicing harm reduction long before she knew its language, and has focused her academic career on the glocal (global/local) consequences of the US drug war.

Jasmine has a Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies and Political Science, and a Master’s degree in Public Policy with an emphasis on the Human Rights of people who use drugs. After spending the last decade living in five states trying to find home, Jasmine is happy to have finally found it in New York City.
