Following the historic We Can End AIDS mobilization for human rights and economic justice in Washington, D.C. on July 24th, VOCAL-NY is hosting a town hall meeting on in Manhattan to talk about concrete ways we can bring about an end to the HIV/AIDS crisis.
When: Tuesday, August 7th from 3 – 5pm
Where: The Town Hall will be at Judson Memorial Church, 55 Washington Square South (entrance is on Thompson Street).
Getting there: Take the A, B, C, D, E, F, M to West 4th Street, 1 to Christopher Street, or N, R to 8th Street-NYU/
We’ll discuss how to keep the momentum going for ending the drug war, housing everyone, taxing Wall Street and promoting the human rights of women, LGBT people, people who use drugs and others disproportionately impacted by the epidemic.
