Angie Milan-Cruz
Hepatitis C Navigator

Angie has been a Hepatitis C Navigator at VOCAL-NY since March of 2017. As a Hep C Navigator she assists clients on their process towards recovery by connecting them to services and helping clients maintain their treatment plans. Angie’s start at VOCAL-NY began in 2012 after she joined VOCAL-NY members and staff at a rally in DC, an experience she describes as “the most exciting and thrilling experience.” Angie is vocal about homelessness because of her past experience on the streets, health care and education because she believes a healthy life and access to academic resources allows individuals to be anything they want. Angie’s hobbies include meditating, cooking and dancing.
